Our 17th century Longhouse, nestled amongst rolling Devonshire hills, is packed full of original features and rural Devon character. The spacious lounge and dining room have oak beams and huge inglenook fireplaces; the houe is set in 1 acre of landscaped gardens providing the ideal country retreat . We offer superb evening meals with an adventurous touch ensuring a special dining experience. We are fully licenced and offer a well stocked bar and extensive wine list. After a blissfully quiet and peaceful night’s sleep, wake up to an excellently prepared breakfast with fresh eggs from our own free range hens and home-made bread just waiting to be spread with local Devonshire butter and a dollop of jam! Our farmhouse is ideal for business or leisure. It has 5 double, charming and individually decorated en-suite bedrooms and 1 twin bedded room with private bathroom. Sampson Barton is in a super location, just three miles from South Molton, gateway to Exmoor National Park. Golfing, fishing and horse riding facilities are available in abundance and with many RHS Gardens and National Trust properties in the region, there is definately something for everyone!
